I made this cake for my friend's mom who was turning 60, she wanted me to include their new Hawaiian vacation home on the cake.

Wildflower Race Cake

This cake was for the IronTEAM to celebrate the Wildflower Triathlon. I used fondant and buttercream to decorate the cake to look like the race course (with one of our mascots- Pikachu)!

Cutting Board Cake

I used edible silver dust and fondant to decorate this cutting board cake

TNT Birthday Cake

This cake was gluten-free vanilla cake with vanilla butter cream frosting, with a layer of Reece's peanut butter cup + butter cream filling- yum!

Welcome TEAM!

I made this cake for the new members of IronTEAM who will be training for the 1/2 Ironman race at Vineman this summer. This was yellow cake with vanilla buttercream and rolled fondant- and went fast after our morning run!

Valentine's Day

This IRONMAN themed cake was for one of my teammates who wanted to thank his family for their support of LLS and of his training, with a vanilla valentine cake.

He also requested a more traditional Valentine's Day cake - chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and red colored fondant.

METS BIRTHDAY

This NY Mets jersey cake- for a very big Mets fan on his 27th birthday- was made from devil's food chocolate cake, with vanilla buttercream frosting.

Running Club

This cake was a "healthier" version of devil's food chocolate cake - with less fat, and with a low-fat cream-cheese chocolate frosting, made for my Coach's running group.
Good, and (sort-of) good for you!

CHICAGO BEARS BIRTHDAY

In honor of the Chicago Bears playoff run, I made this Bears-helmet birthday cake for a very big fan!
This Chicago Bears football helmet birthday cake was made from yummy and dense vanilla pound cake and buttercream frosting, covered in colored fondant. The face-mask of the helmet is made from cereal treats covered in frosting and white fondant.
Go Bears!

CAKES for Charity!

I have now begun taking orders to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! As a participant of TEAM in Training, I m training for an IRONMAN triathlon this July and raising funds to help fight cancer.

This cake was for the East Side LA Triathlon Team- red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting:
They are training for the LAVAMAN triathlon this season in Hawaii,  so a volcano theme seemed appropriate...

I also made a cake to look like a GARMIN device- it is a little  computer used to track your distance and other things while training on a bike...

Birthday Peach Cake

I learned something new while making this cake: is a Chinese custom to eat a 'longevity peach' at a  birthday celebration. This cake is shaped to look like a peach- and is vanilla white cake with vanilla buttercream frosting - topped off with a layer of peach-colored fondant.
I also made a little baby peach cupcake, too...

Jayme and Kyle's Wedding

I made these Chocolate and Vanilla Cupcakes for my friend Jayme's wedding. She wanted to have something for the kids at the wedding that would be easier to handle than cake.
I made these cupcakes to match the theme of their wedding and of their main cake- mostly black-and-white. Very classy.

Chocolate and Vanilla cake, with Vanilla Buttercream frosting, and homemade Dark Chocolate Ganache.

This was my first time making those oh-so-delicious little French Macaroons that are so popular right now! I made mine in 3 flavors- vanilla, chocolate, and lemon.

Because the parents are waiting to see if it's a girl or a boy, I made them in gender-neutral colors for the shower- orange, green and brown.
Yummm...

This turntable cake was 100% edible- made for a double 30th birthday party- with a 60's theme!

This is a Charlie Chaplin cake I made for another film-industry birthday party
This is a cake I made for a baby shower. My friends were having a baby boy, so I made this cake in the shape of her belly and covered it in a creamy yellow  fondant with a blue bow. The cake inside was also baby blue!

I used more fondant to make the little teddy bear in the same colors.
This is one of the less-traditional cakes I have made. Actually, probably the least traditional.
My friend had a "white trash" themed birthday party (whether you agree with that or not)... I made her a trailer home birthday cake. This cake is actually vanilla wedding cake inside, covered in buttercream frosting and rolled fondant sugar dough.

The pink flamingo and cinder blocks are made out of sugar- and even the Lazy-Boy and the washing machine are made from cake!

This cake was for a double-birthday party for two guys who work in Hollywood in the film industry, so I made them the hollywood hills.

The hollywood sign and the "landscaping" are made from marzipan, the rest is just chocolate cake and buttercream!

I made this compact fluorescent light bulb cake for a friend who is a lighting designer, turning 29. White cake with buttercream frosting.

These were two cakes I had to make quickly in one night! The first for a friend's birthday ( she is a bulldog enthusiast)...

...The other for a Super Bowl party
These are some cakes from a few years ago that I decorated using only buttercream frosting, and for the last photo here- the coconut cake, with shredded and toasted coconut.
